Warning Signs of Turbo Failure

  • Siren / dentist-drill noise on spool-up

  • P0299 “Underboost” or P0234 “Overboost” codes
  • Oil in intercooler pipes

Catch it early and a cartridge rebuild may be all that’s needed; ignore it and you risk DPF clogging or engine damage.

4. Refit, prime oil feed & road-test live boost 30 min

Can you refurbish my existing turbo?

Often yes. If the housings are undamaged we can install a balanced CHRA, saving ~30% over a full unit.

Do I need to replace the DPF as well?

Only if the failing turbo has heavily contaminated it with oil. We will pressure-test the DPF first.

How soon can you book me in?

Most turbo jobs scheduled within 48 hours; same-day turnaround is possible with stocked units.
